FHP says Orlando's Jeffrey Brookshire and a female passenger were in a car that was rear-ended by a car that fled the scene. Brookshire was killed, and his female passenger from Orlando is in critical condition.

Eleven Rescued From Boat Accident In Indian River (Titusville, FL) -- Firefighters and the FWC are credited with rescuing almost a dozen people after a boating accident in Brevard County. It happened yesterday afternoon when a boat capsized on the Indian River near the Max Brewer Bridge.

Titusville firefighters and the FWC saved all eleven people, including two children, and no injuries were reported. There's no word on what caused the boat to capsize, but it happened a few hours after a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the area.

ICE Protests Continue In Tampa (Tampa, FL) -- Protesters in Tampa Bay continue to rage against what they call a monstrous machine. Immigration advocates yesterday rallied outside Tampa's DHS building to call for ICE to be abolished.

While the protests have grown under President Trump, members of Occupy ICE say he's just continuing a policy that started under presidents Bush and Obama. Man Allegedly Springs False Alarm At Courthouse (Freehold, NJ) -- A New Jersey man is in deep trouble for allegedly intentionally setting off a security alarm at a county courthouse. Michael Marsh was at the Monmouth County Superior Courthouse last week for a date with a judge when officials say he intentionally pulled a wall alarm, which led to chaos.

Prosecutors are keeping some of the details to themselves but say he was quickly taken into custody. He's facing a charge of creating False Public Alarm. Marsh is expected to be aggressively prosecutors by the District Attorney.
