We’ll spend most of our day with eye toward Florida. The NASA administrator is coming down on his own agency and Boeing over how they have handled Starliner’s woes. The state’s Attorney General has announced a new anti-corruption unit. Personally, I believe it needs to start with a mirror. The House’s announced budget ignores Governor DeSantis’ wish list for the state. The Speaker says the budget battle could be lengthy and that time is not a consideration. The House has backtracked on the emergency funding restrictions they had said would be in place. And the House has approved Rep. Monique Miller’s proposal to remove Homestead Property Taxes. The Senate, as one might expect, has not acted on many of these ideas. Monique will join us in our 8am hour.
Before camping out in Florida for the day, we’ll look at USA’s women’s hockey team bringing home the gold and the Detroit Police Chief trying to fire cops who had done what Detroit thinks is a bad thing…they called ICE.
