After yesterday’s dust-up about me using the term “commie” to refer to Democratic Socialist mayors and candidates, I’ll double down on the use today. See how cool it is to have creative control?
Before we go there, we’ll look at technology playing God. I’ll call it Build-a Baby because that’s exactly what it is. Just because we can do something, does it mean that we should? Who doesn’t want the smartest, healthiest, most athletic and beautiful children possible? We could call them the Stepford Kids.
Then, professors at Pitt are seeking some reputation protection. It makes me wonder why they need it. We all live with being evaluated every day. If they can’t take the heat maybe they could do a better job or…stay out of the classroom.
As for the commies, even the Democrats are fighting them. Well, one Democrat is, anyway. Eric Adams is trying to protect the city he lost in the election from Commie Mamdani’s planned policies.
Florida’s Education commissioner got heat from educators at a Tampa conference. The governor and attorney general are seeing the heat turned up on the Hope Florida situation and it doesn’t look good. Neither do their responses. The Florida House is pushing to expedite the redistricting process despite the Senate slow walking it.
And one college football star has a misconception or two about his team and the role of the federal government in the upcoming playoffs. Maybe he should have studied as much as he practiced.
