Brevard County Resident In Dispute With Railroad Company Over Flooding
(Titusville, FL)-- A Brevard County man's attempt to remove floodwater has him fighting with a railroad. Cocoa's Richard Durivage's home was surrounded by floodwaters last month, so he used a pump to move the water to a nearby ditch. Florida East Coast Railway, though, claimed that threatened their tracks, and the city cited him for discharging water onto Camp Road. Durivage says a citation won't fix the issue. He tells Fox 35 the county is responsible for storm management, and they should come up with a solution for him and his neighbors.

Officials say about 30 years ago the donor first delivered half a dozen turkeys on her birthday and has upped that number every year. More than three-thousand-500 of the turkeys will go to families driving through the Clearwater campus while the rest will go to organizations throughout the area who will pass them out to families.
