The No Kings protests are scheduled around the country this weekend. Florida is no exception. What the Orlando folks are asking for, maybe the others, too, is not a credibility builder. But, the comedy show should be hilarious.
The Florida House is laying out an array of proposals for reducing property taxes. If the House gets its way, we’ll get to decide on any, all of them or none.
The country has seen its first terrorism arrests for members of Antifa.
Has Florida become a police state? I’m sure one state couple thinks so. The rest of us should be wondering. When law enforcement knocks on your door because you criticized the CFO, something has gone awry.
The Leon County Grand Jury is meeting about the Hope Florida situation. Witnesses and the State Attorney are being tight lipped about it. The Governor and Attorney General should be concerned. So should we. Accountability for elected officials is essential, yet some don’t seem to care.
