I had an eventful Labor Day weekend. It started with a trip to Universal Orlando for a working couple of days with my friends from Lite Rock 99-3. Believe it or not, Halloween Horror Nights are already running and they’ll go into November. It was a fun and interesting trip. It concluded with a friend and former pastor moving back to town and a Labor Day get together of old friends with a celebration as two of them who became a great grandparents.
As we get our talk week started Dave Bowman is with us. I emailed and then called Dave as I was driving home from doing some catch-up from the weekend at the office yesterday. E-bikes are a terror. Well, that’s not true, it’s the idiots driving them that are the problem.
You know Dave loves his coffee. There seems to be a good reason for that. Buford Pusser was a folk hero. The movie Walking Tall was based on him and now it looks like Tennessee authorities are trying to kill a dead hero. The question is whether they should.
The Pulse area crosswalk has netted more arrests. The state is looking bad here and the cops are looking stupid.
Maxine Waters wants to invoke the 25th Amendment on President Trump and a federal count is messing around with executive decisions once again.
At 8am Dave will continue our look at the Declaration of Independence and the specifics of it.
