He says peaceful protests are part of democracy, but to anyone who causes violence, "we will kill you graveyard dead." Deputies say a 14-year-old boy was riding an e-bike last week on a multi-use path along Pine Lakes Parkway, and Kalthof was allegedly chasing him in her SUV. A witness cut her off with his car to stop her. Investigators say Kalthof told them she was following the boy because he was speeding, and she wanted to follow him home so she could talk to his parents. The boy, though, says he feared for his life. The 65-year-old Kalthof is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Sheriff Rick Staly says Kalthof clearly needs anger management. He adds, though, e-bike riders need to control their speed and recklessness.

Friday The 13th To Trigger Fears Across The U.S.
(Undated) --Happy Friday the 13th. The day is associated with bad luck, though it's actually quite common. Last year Friday the 13th came around twice and next year it's on the calendar three times. Nobody knows for sure how the superstition started, but fear of the number 13 runs so deep in our culture that over 80-percent of high-rise buildings avoid having a 13th floor, some hotels refuse to have a room 13 and some airports do not have a gate 13. The superstition also triggered a popular horror movie franchise that has made nearly a billion dollars over 12 movies, which are all available on streaming services.
