Man Wanted For Shooting In Brevard County

(Titusville, FL) -- A search is underway to find a teenager wanted for a shooting in Brevard County. The sheriff's office says it's looking for 19-year-old Lynnard [[luh-NARD]] Semaj Woods. Deputies believe he's connected to a shooting two weeks ago in West Cocoa on South Burnett Road. A two-year-old girl was shot in the leg. She's expected to survive. A 17-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man are already in custody. Anyone who knows where Woods may be is asked to contact the sheriff's office.

Kidnapping Suspect Arrested In HillsCo

(Tampa, FL) -- A Manatee County man is accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Hillsborough County. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced yesterday Julian Jaramillo was arrested Tuesday in Palmetto. He allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from a home in Ruskin by forcing her into the trunk of her car. Deputies say Jaramillo drove to his home in Palmetto where he held the woman against her will. Investigators in Hillsborough County contacted the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, and deputies there were able to stop Jaramillo as he left his neighborhood. The woman suffered minor injuries. Jaramillo is facing charges that include kidnapping, carjacking and battery - domestic violence.     

HillsCo Prosecutor Facing Child Porn Charges

(Clearwater, FL)-- A prosecutor in Hillsborough County is facing child porn charges. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested St. Petersburg's William Andrew Jones yesterday. He allegedly accessed and shared files of underage girls as young as six engaging in sex acts. Deputies say Jones confessed. He's charged with child porn possession, transmission and transmission of material harmful to a minor. The 32-year-old is an assistant state attorney. He has been with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office for four years. State Attorney Suzy Lopez says the charges leave her deeply disturbed and sickened.

Panthers Advance To Stanley Cup Finals

(Raleigh, NC)  -- The Florida Panthers beat the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-3, in Raleigh last night in Game Five of the Eastern Conference Finals. Florida wins the series, four games to one, advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals for the third straight year. Florida won the Cup last year, and they're looking to become the first back-to-back winners since the Tampa Bay Lightning did it in 2020 and '21.   

 Killer Bees Swarm People, Horses

(Eastland, TX) -- Two tiny Texas towns are being terrorized by killer bees. They're both about two hours west of Dallas. Police say a man in Eastland, who was mowing his yard, was swarmed. He hopped in his car to speed away but the bees followed him, stinging him to death. Also, in the neighboring town of Comanche, a swarm of Africanized bees attacked and killed three prized rodeo horses. Police there say that millions of bees swarmed the owner, who survived the attack.

Secret Service Officers Suspended After Fight Outside Obama's House

(Washington, DC)-- Two female Secret Service officers are sitting on the sidelines after getting into a dust-up outside former President Obama's DC residence. Video of the May 21st altercation shows the now-suspended officers punching and shoving each other. One officer was also heard on a recorded Secret Service phone line demanding a supervisor to the scene before she beats up her colleague. The woman who made the call was upset that her shift replacement showed up late in addition to allegedly verbally and physically attacking her upon arrival.
