That headline is as plain as it gets. The Florida Senate does suck and sending Debbie Mayfield back there won’t help it any. I suppose the senate can find relief in that it’s not alone. Add Orange County Schools and the Brevard County Commission to the list and we have a party of pathetic.
The Senate is perfectly happy infringing on the rights of Floridians, Mayfield- though still in the House, included. Orange County Schools is admitting failure as they have hired a recruiter to try and get parents to return students to their classrooms. Our county commission is a place where decisions never matter, neither do the rules. I guess that happens when you have the Waffle in charge.
Students at Florida State have made demands of the legislature to stop the gun violence. They don’t understand what that means and it’s evident in their pleadings. We can’t blame the kids. The Senate doesn’t get it either.
