The parkland protester is chief, David “Boss” Hogg, has weaseled his way into leadership of the Democratic Party. He’s doing his best to drag them further down with some measure of success. Democratic elected officials are fighting back. It would seem all they need to do is avoid the Publix stores where he and his cronies are lying in the aisle and not give him the voice. Or maybe that horse has already left the barn and the damage is done.

As we look to Tallahassee, where the legislative session has another week and a half, the Senate is again refusing to take up restoring the rights of adult Floridians 18-20 to buy long guns. There are apparently no conservatives in the Florida Senate and moving the Old Maid of the Legislature, Debbie Mayfield back into that body won’t help.
