Fire At Epcot

(Orlando, FL) --A walk-in cooler appears to be the source of a fire at Epcot. It started Saturday behind the France pavilion. Disney says a walk-in cooler caught fire, but it was quickly put out, and no one was hurt. The pavilion closed temporarily. 

Postal Workers Protest Trump Proposal

(Melbourne, FL) --Some postal workers in Brevard County are worried about changes proposed by President Trump. Over a hundred USPS workers held a rally yesterday in Melbourne. They were protesting Trump's proposal to have the Commerce Department oversee the post office. Some employees are worried restructuring the post office could lead to job cuts. A man who helped organize the rally tells Channel 9 we just want to keep our jobs and keep serving the American people. A similar protest occurred in St. Petersburg.

Deputy-Involved Shooting In HillsCo

(Riverview, FL) --A man is hurt after he was shot by deputies in Hillsborough County. The sheriff's office says a deputy shot Manuel Alvarez yesterday morning at a home in Riverview on Lake Montauk Drive. Deputies were at the home after getting a call about a domestic dispute. Alvarez allegedly beat his girlfriend. According to deputies, when they entered the home Alvarez pointed a gun at them and was shot. He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. The deputy who shot him is on administrative leave. The FDLE is investigating. Sheriff Chad Chronister says the deputy made a split-second decision to not only protect himself but everyone in that home. 

Police Car Vandalized In Broward County

(Pembroke Park, FL) -- A group of people are wanted for vandalizing a police car in Broward County. Pembroke Pines Police say video shows three men jumping on a police decoy car at a gas station on Pembroke Road yesterday. They did about a thousand dollars worth of damage. Police say the men were part of a group of dozens of people on ATVs, motorcycles and dirt bikes doing illegal street takeovers. 

Cannabis Users Under 50 More Likely To Have Heart Attack

(Undated) --Young people who consume marijuana are more likely to have a heart attack. A new study found that people under the age of 50 who consume marijuana are about six-point-two times more likely to experience a heart attack than non-marijuana users. The study also shows young marijuana users are more likely to experience heart failure and stroke. The lead researcher says until there is more solid data, he advises people to try to regulate their cannabis use.
