Dave Bowman is with us for the day. We’ll talk Birthright Citizenship in our third hour with Dave Does History. Here are links to more of Dave’s work: The Dave Bowman Show What the Frock?.
We’ll begin the day with a look at President Trump’s first week in office and how our schools are handling the illegal immigration crackdown.
In hour two we’ll see the showdown in Tallahassee that highlights the disfunction in state government. The governor called a special session. The legislature called it to order and ended it and then started their own. They overrode a governor’s veto of funding from last year and started their own immigration related legislation that was apparently crafted in secret and dropped on our representatives when they arrived.
This is leadership at its worst. Instead of working together they are playing games of one-upmanship for headlines. Term limits have killed the legislative process.
Let’s get to it…
