It’s been four long years, but my how things do change. As we’ll see from Today in History to the current news we have in play today, things can and do turn around.
We should take this as a positive sign and have optimism as we are less than two-weeks away from the second Donald Trump presidency. From Twitter becoming X and an example of better speech on social media to Facebook now saying it wants in on the action, there are signs things are improving.
What’s in a name? Apparently, the Gulf of Mexico needs a name change. How’s the Gulf of America sound to you? It sounds like a waste of time to me.
CNN’s defamation trial is underway in the panhandle. The plaintiff made a strong argument to open the case.
They’re trying to tighten regulations to clamp down on Americans in the Biden Administration’s final days. Energy, appliances and even cigarettes are in the target zone.
Communication with Brevard’s county commission has been a struggle that last four years. The previous condescending board was nothing if not disrespectful to the public that elected it (with the exception of Trans-Kristine who was appointed to the job- he may have been the most condescending of them). We could see a turn for the better with the new board, but one process for reaching that commission is seriously flawed as the board checks its decision making to staff and gives too much power to staff in decision making.
