Misunderstanding Media

Wide Open Wednesday leaves our topics of discussion in your hands. When we hit the phones, it’s up to you.

For my part, media and our understanding of it is skewed, at least according to the journalists who believe their bias is essential to their jobs. The Harris campaign doesn’t get it either. A top aide has admitted the campaign missed the mark on communicating with voters.

A Biden executive order on AI skews as you might think- making DEI an integral part of government agencies and technology. Can President Trump turn it around? And who’s controlling the drones over New Jersey? It seems nobody knows.

In Orange County  the Supervisor of Elections is doing his best to remove discretion from constitutional offices when it comes to budgeting. His outlandish spending is the eye of the storm as he battles with the county and state legislators are taking notice.

In Tallahassee, lame duck legislators who are bailing on their newly elected positions to run for congress are proposing legislation. One is wasting his time with a 2A bill in the House that won’t get the time of day in the Senate. The other is a commonsense measure in the Senate filed by Randy Fine to stop allowing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.

Today, it’s up to you. What’s on your mind?
