What happens when politics turn into sporting events? Teams line up, the competition is fierce and…? And the gamblers line up to take advantage and just maybe predict the outcome.

In Florida’s early voting counties, voters are turning out and Republicans have the advantage. Florida A&M is on track to be the first Historically Black College or University to have a College Republican chapter, but it hasn’t been without its challenges. It appears the threatening letter sent to some Florida TV stations was penned, not by the Health Department lawyer who signed it, but by attorneys forking for the governor’s office.

The Los Angeles Times, after endorsing Democrats for decades, will not endorse Kamala Harris for president.

In Monday’s discussion with Mike Haridopolos, we discussed President Trump’s first term and one lesson in particular we hope he gleaned. In a barbershop discussion in the Bronx, Trump addressed it and it appears the lesson’s been learned.

Those things are on my mind this morning, but it’s Wide Open Wednesday and we devote today to what’s got your attention. We’ll see what that may be on today’s BML.
