It was an exciting weekend that shows promise for the season ahead in both college and NFL football. It’s good to have the relief valve from the stresses of what we face in the political realm. Every now and then we need a breather from the serious things we take on every day. It looks like this football season could be it!
We’ll begin our topic day with the Biden/Harris Effect- Democrats leaving the party because of its radical agenda. Tomorrow night’s debate is in focus (and you can hear it here on WMMB from 9pm-11pm). It seems the Harris camp is already downplaying her performance. That should tell us something.
November can’t come soon enough when it comes to the Brevard County Commission. The body’s attitude toward the public made no adjustment after the Primary. It’s time for the clowns to exit the center ring.
D-33 stayed in the news over the weekend with speculation about his upcoming contempt hearing. And, in an interesting change of attitude for the would-be Florida Senator, he’ll be pushing pro-2A legislation as opposed to taking gun rights from Floridians as was done with Stoneman-Douglas.
Amendment 4 is drawing a lot of attention, as is the State’s pushback to this bad lawmaking attempt.
Let’s get the talk week started…
