A Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge ruled yesterday that Moe Saunders can still run in the House District 106 race, but she'll appear on the ballot as Mo Saunders Scott. The name Moe Saunders is similar to that of another candidate who's also her estranged nephew, Joe Saunders. He wanted his aunt removed from the ballot because she's running what he calls a sham campaign. His lawyer contends Moe intentionally wanted to confuse voters and take away votes from Joe so incumbent Republican Fabian Basabe [[ buh-SAH-bay ]] could win.
