The BML candidate interview invitation and schedule
We talk a lot about integrity. It’s election season; we should be. But integrity is important in every area of life, especially in my profession- broadcast media. Mix the two worlds and it can be a recipe for disaster. A couple of radio stations have learned that lesson the hard way and their reputations are forever scarred, their motives ever questionable.
The same is true, though it seems less so, for those in the political world. The Republican platform is drawing criticism. Pro-life elements are wary that the party’s been pulled away from its traditional pro-life stance. But has it? The Supreme Court’s rejection of Roe v Wade put the issue where conservatives have said it belongs, in the hand of the states. Does the national party have a further role? Are there other issues of concern for you?
We’ll continue candidate interviews as we close today’s show. Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic will join us as he vies to keep the office he currently holds. His challenger, Johnus Disgustus, declined the invitation to appear today.
