We’ll begin IN A HANDBASKET with a high school student suspended for asking a legitimate question in a way that was just too sensitive for the teacher’s fragile ears. We’ll move on to restaurants thinking they are car dealers and adding a service fee to your bill. And the money isn’t going to the servers. No, they are left begging for you to tip in addition to paying the fee.
Finally, we are seeing arrests at colleges where anti-Israel protests have been growing. It’s about time, but what is fostering these attitudes and actions?
Florida State is running into snags in its lawsuit against the ACC. At the high school level, the Florida High School Athletic Association is considering E-sports. I’m all about competition, but they need to change the name, E-sports are about as much sports as Monopoly or Uno.
