BML Tuesday- BIAS

Bias. We all have it, one way or another. It may be based on life experience, common sense or prejudice. It’s what we do with it that matters. And accusations of bias may not be bias at all, but an attempt by someone else to marginalize you or force you into their parameters.

Our day begins with a girls basketball team banned from play because they refused to play against a male in girls’ competition. Bias or common sense?

Football’s a dangerous game. Like some spring leagues have done, the NFL is looking at changing kickoff rules for safety reasons. IS that a good idea?

Google’s Gemini AI has its share of bias. For some reason it would not generate images of while folks. Bias? From an AI? How about from its developers?

George Soros has invested in the country’s second largest radio company. They have about ¼ of the stations iHeart Radio has. Is it a media control move? Is it a push for DEI or maybe an attempt to eliminate talk radio (conservative talk radio would be redundant)? There is a Glenn Beck transcript posted below exploring the idea and talking about the importance of talk radio for us all.

Are Democrats planning a January 6th of their own? How many of them are headed for jail if they won’t seat Donald Trump if he’s elected?

Florida’s seeking the removal of US Chief District Judge Mark Walker in an elections law case.  Walker has not been shy about writing election law from the bench and he’s been recently slapped down by the 11th Circuit. This will be interesting.

Dave Bowman joins us for today’s conversation and in hour-three it’s Dave Does History as we look at presidential term limits and the 22nd Amendment.
