Misinformation, we see it all the time. Does that mean it shouldn’t be there to see? Or should we be discerning enough to handle whatever it is someone puts out there. It's easier and easier with social media for incorrect or even malicious information to spread. Does that mean it should be stopped? Elon Musk may have the answer with X. He’s put Alex Jones, conspiracy theorist extraordinaire, back on the platform. Musk says the platform can handle it. Is he right?
And what about hatred masquerading as free speech? Seems to be a lot of that going around lately. Where does that stop? It could be the line is drawn at the US Congress.
Orange County Schools is doing something that will limit the misinformation for at least the school day. What are these kids to do?
