Pasco County Schools have an idea, I’m just not sure it’s a good one. In addition to the regular holidays on the school calendar, they are creating four-day weekends for kids. The idea, they say, is to encourage coming to school on all the other days.

I was made aware of some interesting news yesterday even though this event is a month old. The story behind it goes back much further. While I have heard rumbles and even seen allegations of unethical or even criminal behavior of County Commissioner Johnus Disgustus Tobia, this is the first public record lending a foundation of record to those assertions. There appears to be serious smoke to this fire and the campaign and career of Johnus Disgustus could be burning to the ground. That story will open our 7am hour.
