National teachers’ unions fought hard to stay out of the classroom during COVID. They went as far as to threaten work stoppages if they did not get their way. How do the unions act as employers? Let’s just say they are getting a taste of their own medicine.
Brevard homeowners are surprised by their new tax bill. They shouldn’t be, they voted for it. Will this surprise inspire more awareness by these folks? Somehow, I doubt it. And speaking of unions, in spite of a hefty increase in pay, the Brevard Federation of Teachers is wanting more.
Moms for Liberty, a grassroots parental rights organization, is often maligned in the media and by detractors. From mischaracterizing M4L’s mission and actions to cyber attacks on the group’s resources, M4L finds itself on the defensive. Some are even involving their kids in the effort. It’s those kids that M4L is standing up to defend.
We’ll open the day with our military. There were service members drummed out for refusing to take COVID vaccinations. Now the military, the Army and Air Force anyway, want them to come back. Will they? Would you? Our heroes are IN A HANDBASKET on today’s BML.
