She tells Fox 35 the causeways block circulation and that hurts water quality, clarity and the seagrass. The study by the US Army Corps of Engineers would cost the county 750-thousand dollars.

FWC Address Bear Concerns In Seminole County

(Sanford, FL) -- The FWC has some tips on how Seminole County residents can deal with bears. The FWC held a meeting yesterday in Sanford to discuss concerns residents have about bears getting into their trash, wandering onto porches and scaring pets. An FWC official says most bear-human interactions involve a dog, and residents were told to avoid walking their dogs after dark. The FWC also recommends not putting out your trash the night before pickup. One man tells WESH 2 News he has neighbors who put out their trash the night before, and it's usually dumped by the next morning.

(Orlando, FL) -- There's another change in onePulse Foundation's leadership. Executive Director Deborah Bowie announced yesterday that she's resigning, effective immediately. This comes after board chairman Earl Crittenden announced his resignation last month. The foundation was formed to build a memorial to those killed in the 2016 shooting at the Pulse nightclub. The city of Orlando, though, recently bought the property and announced plans to build its own memorial. The board's spokesperson says it's in the process of reevaluating its mission to make sure it aligns with the new realities.

Couple Arrested For Having Sex On Dunedin Causeway

(Dunedin, FL) -- A woman's attempt to fulfill a dream has her facing criminal charges in Pinellas County. Sara Fazekas and Robert Clarke the Third were arrested Friday night for allegedly having sex on the Dunedin Causeway. Deputies say 55-year-old Fazekas reportedly told them it had been a dream of hers to do this. Two of those who claim to have seen them in the act were under 16. Deputies say 60-year-old Clarke showed zero remorse and told them children shouldn't be on the causeway at night. Clarke is a registered sex offender, and he's charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition. Fazekas is charged with exposure and drug possession because deputies say they found drugs in her purse.

Homer Simpson To Continue Strangling Bart

(New York, NY)-- Homer Simpson is going to continue strangling his son Bart despite speculation that the "Simpsons" character would stop the habit. The show signaled a change in a new episode in which Homer responds to someone commenting on his firm handshake, telling his wife "Strangling the boy has paid off. Just kidding. I don't do that anymore. Times have changed." The website IGN claimed Homer hasn't put his hands around Bart's neck since the season airing between 2019 and 2020. But the show's co-creator told People magazine that "nothing's getting tamed."
