A judge in DC has set his trial there in the middle of the Primary Election season.Prosecutors wanted it earlier; the defense team wanted it pushed back to after the 2024 election. Will the timing hurt or help Trump’s campaign?
There have been multiple gag orders imposed on Trump as these cases prepare to go to trial. Legal experts have said that, because of the campaign, President Trump has “enhanced first amendment protections.” I wonder if there are such things and doubt that there should be.
