Moms For Liberty Apologizes For Hitler Quote

(Undated) -- An Indiana branch of the conservative group Moms for Liberty is apologizing for quoting Adolf Hitler on the front of their newsletter. The newsletter, put out by the Hamilton County branch, quoted the Nazi leader from a 1935 rally saying "He alone, who OWNS the youth, GAINS the future." The group, which pushes for book bans and the elimination of LGBTQ rights and race in school curriculums, initially said the quote was a warning about protecting kids from government overreach. After a backlash, the group's chairwoman issued a statement last week, condemning Hitler and apologizing for using the quote.
