Here’s a recap of the week…

BML Monday: Is there ANYTHING we can buy?

…commerce, politics and tipping

Is there anywhere we can go and not be forced to see the “T” celebration? We are reacting negatively to the push of sexual preferences and proclivities in American daily life. It’s EVERYWHERE! Some corporations are paying dearly and some that have a more basic business reputation have fallen to the idea that somehow this must be front and center. In spite of the negative impact to prominent retailers, others continue to emphasize the cultural misstep.

On a related note, a Fox Business story says we are tired of tipping. Are we? Where and when is tipping reasonable. Should it ever be expected?

Did you think COVID was over? After all, the president signed a declaration that the emergency was over. Maybe it is, but not at the White House. Mark Zuckerberg says government censorship during the pandemic undermined trust. I think he’s right, but he and his company were enthusiastic participants.

M4L co-founder Tina Descovich told us early on that Canadians were very interested in the M4L concept. It appears they need to be as what’s happening in one Canadian school district is absolutely nuts.

President Trump has reacted pretty much as expected to being indicted. He scheduled to appear for arraignment during Sean Hannity’s show tomorrow. Jonathon Turley says this indictment is different.

And here in Brevard, the county commission has been pushed into a political ploy by a commissioner who’s a candidate for higher office.Constitutional offices, save one, have been targeted by the commission as a scapegoat for budget concerns and a tax hike excuse. It also clearly shows that candidate has no understanding of the budgeting of the office he seeks.

BML Tuesday: M4 L Over the Target

…DAVE DOES HISTORY is BACK

Last week we talked with Moms for Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich about the group’s amazing growth and influence in their short existence. We watched this force grow from an idea into a power player in our society. They must be doing something right. As I was preparing the show last night, I saw the Associated Press headline and it was very telling. It accused the parental rights group of “attacking” education.

Our day will open with M4L as Canada could sure use them about now. The pronoun game is getting serious, as job loss is now possible for not buying in and playing along with the fantasy.

Is your financial institution working against your best interests and helping the government violate your rights? If you’re with bank of America, that answer could be yes. Could the Biden bribery situation be any more clear? With audio tapes of the president’s collusion alleged to exist, it very well could be.

Tucker Carlson and Fox News continue to battle through their lawyers. Fox wants Tucker silent through January of 2025 when his contract ends. Tucker is thinking that isn’t going to happen.

Dave Bowman is back with DAVE DOES HISTORY in today’s 8am hour. History as only Dave can bring it is back on BML.

BML:WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY

…information and conversation

It may not be a million dollars, but it comes from our Million Dollar Caller, Brody. He’s been dubbed that after being the owner of the last four delay-dumped calls for language not allowed on the radio. George Carlin would be so proud! We’ll share Brody’s follow-up TalkBack call with you and his gracious penance for the offense.

IN A HANDBASKET we’ll see once again that our kids are coming off as more intelligent than those who are educating them.

Also in play: Details matter in conversation. What happens when media leaves them out? A student body election at the University of South Florida has been overturned. The claim is that the conservative winners cheated. Is Bank of America working for the FBI and against you?  Do the Bidengate tapes have the evidence we’ve been waiting for? Tucker Carlson seems determined to speak on media and politics. Fox News seems determined to shut him down. The Brevard County Commission and the county staff are being pulled in to a political game of one commissioner who is targeting an election opponent and drawing every other Constitutional Officer into the circus.

With that said, today is WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY and it’s up to you what we discuss this morning. Your calls direct the conversation today on BML. So, what’s on your mind?

BML Thursday: Word Games

…all around us

Words. They are the heart of what we do, not just here in talk radio, but in all aspects of life. Communication is key in any endeavor. When it’s not clear, success is more difficult to attain. If you can change the definitions, it can turn the tide in your favor in debate or cultural shifts.

We’ll begin with butchering the language to degrade women. Women are standing up. We should all be doing the same. There is success in fighting it. Could the tide be turning?

CNN tried to turn itself around, well, it’s former CEO tried. After his departure, the network has reverted to its old propaganda pushing self.

Facebook has lost a Georgia lawsuit where it had banned a user and he lost all of his photos stored on the platform.

The Biden tapes are being pursued and the story won’t go away. Do we want to see Kamala Harris as the President?

Ron DeSantis says if he’s elected president he’ll tear down and rebuild the Department of Justice. Now there‘s a great idea.
