Welcome back from the Memorial Day weekend. It was a busy and violent one. The news and life around us didn’t stop for the holiday, either. Here are the stories that caught my attention over the long weekend:
The Los Angeles Dodgers are trying to be everything to everyone. Elon Musk’s Nuralink got approval for human trials. Nobody in business seems to be learning from Bud Light’s marketing disaster. A black Florida business owner says the NAACP travel ban should be ignored. Governor Ron DeSantis begins his campaign for the Republican nomination to the presidency and he seems to be on message. The House Speaker and the President reached a compromise on the debt ceiling and the purity debate is raging.
