BML WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY

As we catch up today, it’s up to you where we go. It’s our one day a week where you can discuss whatever you like. News, politics, social issues, media, whatever it is, it’s welcome (as you are) on today’s BML.

For my part, it’s funny how famous people don’t want the spotlight they so desperately sought. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a great example. Disney workers don’t want to go back to the office. Who do they think they are, teachers? Governor Ron DeSantis has the media whining like Harry and Meghan and it’s almost as funny. My native land (WV) has proposed concealed carry on college campuses. Why doesn’t Florida get “constitutional carry?” The Orlando Sentinel has a good point on the Legislature and guns. The elected officials are very inconsistent on the issue.

In other news, Florida Tech has been ordered to reinstitute men’s rowing as a sanctioned sport, the county commission won’t spend TDC money on the Cocoa Beach Air Show, the legislature wants to stop credit card companies from using codes to track gun related sales, Florida students are using AI to cheat and a Jacksonville teacher has been fired over his library porn propaganda.

I guess we won’t be short of things to discuss on this WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY.
