Man Reports Being Carjacked At OIA

(Orlando, FL)-- A search is underway to find a carjacking suspect. Orlando Police say someone reported being carjacked yesterday morning at Orlando International Airport near the Frontier Airlines curbside area. The alleged victim was not hurt. Police have not revealed details on the car or the suspect.     

Brevard County Gun Store Thief Arrested In Pinellas County

(Clearwater, FL)-- An Orange County man wanted for robbing a gun store in Brevard County is in custody. Apopka's Jeremy Middleton was arrested last week in Pinellas County. The 24-year-old was wanted for robbing Sicarios Gun Shop in Melbourne on Thursday. He was arrested Friday, and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says he was caught with a gun reported stolen from the store. Melbourne Police say investigators searched his home and found 14 stolen guns, including all that were reported stolen from Sicarios. Sicarios Gun Shop's owner expressed his gratitude on Facebook yesterday to law enforcement and called them true professionals. 

Seminole County Man Arrested For Threatening To Set Home On Fire

(Longwood, FL)-- A Seminole County man is accused of threatening to set a house on fire. Longwood's Steven Carden was arrested Sunday. The sheriff's office says he poured gasoline around a home on South Terrace Boulevard and threated to set it on fire, but he never actually did. He's facing charges that include attempted arson, aggravated assault and aggravated stalking. There's no word on a motive.

Pedestrian Killed In Train Collision

(Aventura, FL)-- One person is dead after they were hit by a train in Miami-Dade County. It happened yesterday in Aventura near Biscayne Boulevard and 179th Street. Police say a pedestrian was hit by a Brightline train. No details have been released.   

Sarasota Delegates To Vote On Allowing Siesta Key To Determine Incorporation

(Siesta Key, FL)-- An upcoming vote will be what one lawmaker calls a big deal for Siesta Key. Local delegates will vote Thursday on allowing Siesta Key residents to vote on establishing their own government.Some residents believe they can do a better job than the county in managing the city's growth. State Rep. Fiona McFarland supports allowing Siesta Key residents to vote on becoming incorporated, but she says it may be difficult to convince other state lawmakers that Siesta Key should become Florida's next city. McFarland tells News Channel 8 creating another layer of government is a really big deal, and it's taken very seriously in Tallahassee. 

"Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies" Gets Trailer Release, Premiere Date

(Los Angeles, CA)-- Paramount-plus is releasing the teaser trailer for its upcoming series "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies." It takes place four years before the original "Grease" film. It follows four fed-up outcasts that want to have fun on their own terms and spark a moral debate that changes Rydell High forever. "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies" debuts April 6th on Paramount-Plus.
