Palm Beach Post Asks For Entire Trump Warrant To Be Released

(West Palm Beach, FL)-- A South Florida newspaper is pushing federal officials to release more details on the raid at Donald Trump's home. US Attorney General Merrick Garland announced yesterday he'll ask a federal judge to unseal part of the warrant that led to the raid on Mar-A-Lago this week. The Palm Beach Post, though, filed papers asking a judge to release the whole warrant.The Post claims full disclosure will help people understand why such an unprecedented act by the FBI was necessary.

State Provides Resources For Veterans To Join School Force

(Tallahassee, FL) -- A new resource is trying to recruit veterans into schools across Florida. Governor DeSantis is launching a page on the Florida Department of Education's website to clarify how veterans can help reduce teacher shortages by becoming one themselves. Veterans can get a nonrenewable five-year education certificate if they meet a short list of requirements. The State Board of Education will vote on whether to formally implement the program next week.

Child Found Naked On Ocala Street

(Ocala, FL)-- A Marion County woman is facing charges after a child was found naked and alone. Ocala Police say a postal service worker called authorities after finding the child bruised, bloodied and covered in sand while walking along a road Wednesday morning. Two officers found the child's parents sleeping at a nearby home, and they told police they left the child in the care of a woman named Qualinda Robinson. She was not at the home, and when police found her, she told them she texted the parents to let them know she was going to the store. Police, though, say she left without confirming that the parents would take care of the child. The 33-year-old Robinson is charged with felony child neglect without great bodily harm.      

                                                                                                       

Early Voting Begins Tomorrow In Brevard County

(Titusville, FL) --Early voting starts tomorrow in Brevard County. Ten early voting sites will be open Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and they'll be open every day until next Saturday, the 20th. Besides statewide races, Brevard County voters can also decide races for judge, school board and the Titusville City Council. Election Day for the primary is August 23rd. You can get more info at VoteBrevard.gov. SOE Lori Scott will join us at 7:42 this morning on Bill Mick LIVE.

Broward County HOA President Denies Theft

(Oakland Park, FL) -- A Broward County man is accused of stealing money from his Homeowner's Association. Harry Murphy allegedly stole about 45-thousand dollars from the Oakland Forest HOA in Oakland Park while he was president. The 76-year-old is charged with grand theft, but he proclaimed his innocence after leaving the county jail last night. Murphy tells 7News the residents can say what they want, but he thinks they're lying. 

Woman Carrying Baby Robbed At Gunpoint

(Orlando, FL) -- A mother and her children are safe after they were robbed at gunpoint. Orange County, Florida deputies say the woman was holding her baby as a man took her purse and an iPad her child was holding nearby. Surveillance footage shows the suspects driving away in a rental car. Police arrested Joshua Davila and Corahn Myrie hours after Tuesday's incident.

Car Thief Who Hid Inside Stuffed Bear Sentenced

(Manchester, UK) --  A teenage car thief who thought police wouldn't find him inside a stuffed bear is on his way to jail in the U.K. Greater Manchester Police were searching for the teen in a house last month when they noticed a large stuffed bear breathing.They found the 18-year-old hiding inside the bear. He was sentenced last week to nine months in a young offenders institution.

Woman Makes Eleven-Thousand Calls To Police This Year

(St. Petersburg, FL) -- A woman was arrested after making over eleven-thousand calls to police this year. Carla Jefferson was busted on Monday on a misdemeanor charge of placing a torrent of calls to a Florida police department and sheriff's office.At one point, Jefferson made 512 calls to police in a 24-hour period. Authorities say she would routinely harass, belittle, yell at, and threaten the employees who answer her calls. Police say Jefferson's eleven-thousand calls over the last year have accounted for roughly ten-percent of the total call volume for the St. Petersburg Police Department. She was arrested in late-June for refusing to stop her calls, and was arrested again on Monday after she continued to harass dispatchers.
