06.22.22- Uvalde- the more we learn
The Director of the Texas DPS came out with some very damning statements about the response to the slayings in Uvalde.
If what he reports is accurate, there need to be severe repercussions and a boatload of training for Texas cops.
The Director said that 3 minutes after the shooting began there were enough sufficiently equipped cops on scene to enter and neutralize the killer.
The Uvalde school district police chief said officers could not enter the classroom because the door was locked. The DPS Director countered that by saying the door could not be locked from the inside.
The tragedy here is multi-fold. Kids and teachers died. Cops were ill prepared or unwilling to enter a dangerous situation. The classroom was unable to secure itself from the killer. We were lied to, maybe multiple times.

06.23.22- Whoa! Gillum Arrested
As the great one, Rush Limbaugh himself, once said, “See, I told you so!”
Almost Florida Governor Andrew “Save a Horse- Ride a Cowboy” Gillum has been arrested on 21 federal corruption charges. We dodged that bullet as a state by less than half a percent.
I could tell the arrest was in the offing from the moment we learned of the FBI corruption investigation during Gillum’s stint as Tallahassee mayor. His claims of nothing to see here were deflections.
The other arrests, convictions and Gillum’s own words as the details were revealed made the conclusion a simple one. He is guilty as sin.
The charges involve millions of dollars in a conspiracy to defraud campaign investors and lying to the FBI about it all.
While Gillum proclaims his innocence, the evidence is already collected, the witnesses are stacking up and his prison term awaits. All he has to do is realize it and cut his best deal.
Mark my words, it’s been a long time coming, but Andrew Gillum is going down.
06.24.22- Titusville is NOT Minneapolis
A tragedy happened in Titusville the day after Christmas. A police officer killed a man who had fled and fought with the officer in the performance of his duties.
A man died. A cop lost a career and may lose his freedom. A family and a police department mourn the loss of life. The department holds its own accountable, but also mourns for the officer who made what appears to be a tragic mistake.
Titusville PD has released the video of the incident and you may judge it for yourself. It’s pretty telling to me.
The stressful confrontation appears to have led to an accidental discharge of the officer’s weapon with tragic results.
Attorneys for the man’s family have mischaracterized this event and have attempted to elevate it to a George Floyd situation which it never was.
They are claiming racism where there is no evidence of it at all.
You can’t canonize a criminal to sacrifice a cop on the altar of race! It’s a disservice t everyone involved.
