Vaccines, mandates and employment are dominating our world. People who had been declared heroes as they were frontline when no vaccine was available now face ridicule and potentially losing their jobs if they don’t take the shots. The leader of the free world apparently doesn’t believe in freedom as he says those workers should be fired. Our governor, on the other hand, is recruiting out of state cops and is working to incentivize them to do come here.
The mask mandate is out at Brevard Schools, at least for now. With transmission rates dropping near the stated threshold, Superintendent Mark Mullins announced Friday that the parental opt-out is in. The National School Boards Association, caught with it letter maligning parents as domestic terrorists, is backing down. It may be too little too late as it also appears they were in collusion with the Biden White House in going after dissenting parents.
Outspoken actor Alec Baldwin killed a woman and injured a man with gun on a movie set last week. Hollywood (the knowledgeable and the not-so-much-so) is speaking out. Changes are being made. Gun safety rules were ignored completely on this set and questions are being asked. Another question is whether charges will be filed. Dave Bowman joins us in our 8am hour to talk this and more.
