Melbourne Police Officers Save Driver From River

(Melbourne, FL) -- Two local police officers are credited with saving a life. Melbourne Police say Officer Peter Dolci saw a car in the Indian River yesterday morning, and he was able to pull the driver out. Dolci and Officer Luke Dummer carried the driver, who was unconscious and had no pulse, up the embankment and started CPR until rescue crews arrived. Police say the driver was revived and is in stable condition.  

Former Brevard County Man Sentenced For Child Porn

(Orlando, FL) -- A former Brevard County man will spend 20 years in prison for child porn charges. The US Justice Department announced yesterday that Titusville's Jeffery Heck was sentenced for distributing child sexual abuse material. The 28-year-old pleaded guilty three months ago to charges that date back to over a year ago. Prosecutors say they found over 100 child porn images on his cellphone as well as a video of children being sexually abused.

Tampa Man Pleads Guilty For Capitol Hill Riot

(Tampa, FL) -- A Tampa man may get prison time for his role in the Capitol Hill violence. The Justice Department announced yesterday that Caleb Perry pled guilty to charges that include conspiracy, and he has agreed to cooperate with investigators. The 20-year-old was a member of the Oath Keepers who were accused of forcing the doors of the Capitol rotunda open to get into the building. Prosecutors say he could get up to 25 years. 

State's First 3D-Printed House Being Built In Tallahassee

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Tallahassee will be home to a one-of-a-kind house. The state's first 3D-printed house is being built in the city in Griffin Heights on Clay Street. Precision Building and Renovating started construction last week, and it should be done by Friday. The company's co-owner tells the Tallahassee Democrat she has to keep pinching herself because she can't believe it's actually happening. 

Woman Bikes To Chase Down Shooter After Being Shot In Both Legs

(Fresno, CA) -- Police in California say a Fresno woman managed to chase down her shooter on a bike with gunshot wounds in both of her legs. The woman in her 40s was shot in a domestic violence situation Monday night. She called police right after she was shot and somehow managed to ride her bike and chase her shooter for at least a block. When officers arrived, she was there to point out her attacker.

Florida Highway Shut Down By Manure

(Brevard County, FL) -- A crash involving cow manure led to a smelly commute for some drivers here in Brevard. The Florida Highway Patrol says a dump truck carrying the manure collided with a semi Tuesday on I-95. The crash led to a spill of the manure on the interstate causing a section to close for cleanup. Nobody was hurt in the crash.
