(Titusville, FL) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Brevard County. It happened yesterday afternoon in Titusville on South Park Ave behind the Park Villas Apartments. The victim died at the scene, and he's being described as a black man in his 20s. No arrest has been announced, and there's no word on a motive.
DeSoto County Sheriff's Deputies Find Live Grenade During Traffic Stop
(DeSoto County, FL) -- DeSoto County Sheriff's deputies say they found a live hand grenade during a traffic stop on Saturday. Officials posted on Facebook that a narcotics unit found a slew of weapons while pulling a vehicle over. A bomb squad from Sarasota County was called in to remove and destroy the grenade. Driver Donald Reid Junior was charged with multiple counts of possession of firearms and ammo by a convicted felon.
Pensacola's Hill Files Bill To Repeal Red Flag Law
(Tallahassee, FL) -- A Panhandle Republican doesn't seem to be on board with an idea President Trump is supporting to address gun violence. Trump has cited Florida's Red Flag law as something that could be done on a national level, but Pensacola State Rep. Mike Hill filed a bill last week to repeal the law. The bill also calls for the repeal of a ban on bump stocks and the three-day waiting period. Hill tells FloridaPolitics.com the Red Flag laws are unconstitutional, and he's against anything that infringes on gun ownership.
Epstein Victims Planning Lawsuit
(New York, NY) -- Alleged victims of deceased South Florida sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are planning to sue his estate under a new law. Lawyers for the women say they would like to sue under the "Child Victims Act" after his apparent suicide in federal lockup in New York over the weekend. The "Child Victims Act" takes effect Wednesday in New York. It allows people to sue over allegations of sexual abuse, regardless of when the acts occurred.

Elderly Man Survives For Five Days On Coca-Cola
(Arlington, VA) -- A Virginia man is in stable condition after falling inside of his home. Glenn Smith could not get up when he fell inside of his Arlington home's kitchen, but he survived for five days by consuming the only thing he could reach: Coca-Cola. Smith was rescued by police and paramedics, who were called by a mail man who noticed the pile-up of mail at the front door. The man was then transported to Virginia Hospital Center. His neighbor said he was horrified by the story, and will try to look out for Smith from now on.
Florida Police: Naked Man Stole Underwear From Sex Shop
(Wilton Manors, FL) -- A Florida man is under arrest after he was allegedly spotted naked, stealing underwear from a sex shop. Police say they were called to an area of Wilton Manors, where citizens reported seeing a man riding around naked on a bike. This was before the man reportedly entered a sex shop, stole some underwear and tried to pay for it with his bike. Officers say the man left the store, but removed the underwear and flashed several passersby while walking down the street. The 38-year-old man, known only as "John Smith," now faces charges of lewd and lascivious conduct among others.
