Pregnant Woman Killed In Shooting  (Orlando, FL) -- A pregnant woman is dead after a shooting in Orange County. It happened yesterday afternoon in Pine Hills where two cars were in a chase. The 21-year-old woman driving one of the cars was killed and two children in the car were hurt.  There's no word on their conditions.

Deputies say 15 shots were fired. No arrests have been announced, and no motive has been revealed for the shooting.

Protesters Block Access to ICE  (Deerfield Beach, FL) -- Protesters in Broward County say they have only just begun to take steps they hope will lead to changes in immigration policy. Two people yesterday used bicycle locks to chain themselves to the entrance of an ICE detention facility in Deerfield Beach.

Deputies used electric saws to cut through the locks, and several protesters were arrested. One protester tells Local 10 they're trying to call attention to ICE's inhumane policies in the hopes of abolishing the agency.

Nine Inmates Charged In Riot At Youth Detention Center  (Daytona Beach, FL) -- Nine inmates, some as young as 13, are facing charges for starting a riot at youth detention center in Volusia County. Sunday's riot at the Volusia Regional Detention Center in Daytona Beach lasted half-an-hour and involved about 20 inmates.

It started when inmates tried to escape their cells while guards were passing out lunch, and the News-Journal reports the inmates tried to use the lunch trays as weapons. No serious injuries were reported.

Community Rallies Behind Abandoned Couch  (West Melbourne, FL) -- An abandoned couch credited with inspiring community spirit here in Brevard County is gone, but it's leaving behind some warm memories. The couch outside a Walmart on Palm Bay Road was removed last night after it had been there for weeks.

It became a landmark after a Palm Bay political candidate posted a video of him on the couch, which led to a food drive for the South Brevard Sharing Center. People dropped off items to turn the couch into part of a roadside living room, and one woman tells Florida Today it was wonderful to see something dirty and nasty become beautiful and charitable.

Man Accused Of Running Naked  (Pike County, KY) -- Several charges are being filed in Kentucky against a man who police say was running around naked. Jason Baker was allegedly yelling and causing a disturbance over the weekend in Pike County while naked and then gave officers a phony name when they stopped him.

The 32-year-old was in the Ashcamp Community at the time and troopers took him to the Pike County Detention Center after being checked out by doctors. They believe he was under the influence of drugs.
