BML Tuesday: Sports Promotion Pitfalls

When a sports promotion goes bad…it goes very bad.  Insulting the target audience is not a good idea.  While we enjoyed our protest Papa John’s pizza during the World Cup final, the national chain has been unceremoniously dumped by a college stadium.  While we are at college we’d best mind the pronouns we use, lest we get into trouble.

New law is allowing the County Commission to choose to place TDC tax dollars toward the lagoon, sort of.

One Virginia school district gets student safety in an active shooter situation.  Meanwhile, Brevard marches on touting the low cost of perpetuating victimhood.

The Republican governor’s nomination is nowhere near a certain thing as Putnam supporters would like to believe.  Chuck Schumer is facing the reality of asking Democratic senators to sacrifice their elections to stop the president’s Supreme Court nomination.

Rene Plasencia was scheduled to be with us in hour 3 today, but his wife is pregnant and they have a previously unscheduled doctor’s visit this morning.  We’ll try to accommodate the representative on a date where other candidates have not responded to our invitation.
