Police-Involved Shooting In Seminole County  (Longwood, FL) -- A man is hurt after being shot by a deputy in Seminole County. The shooting happened yesterday afternoon at a gas station in in Longwood.

Deputies say investigators surrounded a car they believe was involved in a drug deal, and when the driver refused to get out, he was shot several times. There's no word on his condition, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

FBI Wants More Info From Tallahassee City Attorney  (Tallahassee, FL) -- The FBI wants more information about a restaurant developer and his ties to Tallahassee officials. A subpoena was issued yesterday to the city attorney asking for records related to developer Adam Corey, The Edison restaurant and votes taken on issues related to Cascade Holdings, LLC.

The documents the FBI wants include Edison staff evaluations and details on funding for the restaurant...and they want them by Tuesday.

Dog Dragged Behind Pickup Truck  (Melbourne, FL) -- A man stands accused of animal cruelty in Brevard County. Witnesses told Melbourne Police yesterday morning they saw a dog being dragged by a pickup truck near Williams Street.

Police found the dog and arrested Jean Alcee. The 41-year-old is not the dog's owner, but the truck he was driving belongs to the owner. There's no word on the dog's condition.

Latitude Margaritaville Voted Top 55+ Community In The Country  (Daytona Beach, FL) -- A new Volusia County retirement spot is off to a hot start. Daytona Beach's Latitude Margaritaville was named this week as the number one active adult community in the country by 55Places.com.

The 55-plus community inspired by Jimmy Buffett's laid-back party vibe just opened in March, but 55Places.com says no other community received as many page views since plans for the community were announced last year. Three other Central Florida communities ranked in the top ten.

Man Arrested For Mooning Drivers  (Fort Myers, FL) -- A man is facing charges for mooning drivers in Lee County. FHP says Tampa 22-year-old Andrew Ramirez-Mirabal was exposing his rear-end while a passenger in a car on I-75 yesterday morning.

Troopers say witnesses also reported seeing someone in the car display a weapon. Ramirez was arrested during a traffic stop, and troopers say they found a pellet gun in the car.

Man Shot In Butt While Riding Bicycle  (Anchorage, AK) -- An Alaska man is not only without his bicycle, he's also recovering from a bullet to the butt after a confrontation with another cyclist.

Anchorage Police say the victim started chasing after the suspect but turned around and ran off when the suspect pulled a gun. The suspect then shot the victim once in the backside. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
