Remember a while back when we learned there was a congressional slush fund to play off the Representatives’’ and Senators’ sexual misconduct accusers? Finally the Senate has done something about it!
The NFL has a public face on many issues: breast cancer, patriotism, domestic abuse, the United Way and more. What if you learned this was not because of corporate responsibility and a desire to give back, but because the polled what would play well? It isn’t only the issues they polled and it could cost the NFL big time.
I have personal and public talks with and about Randy Fine’s style of handling issues in our community. I wondered if I was the only one noticing. Apparently I am not. Both a letter writer to Florida Today and their Editorial Board have noticed and are speaking out. My concern is that nobody, especially Randy Fine, will be listening.
President Trump said thanks, but no thanks, to North Korea on the proposed summit that the NK rhetoric was threatening anyway. President Trump has handled the bully well. Taking the option out of their hands was perfect. Now, for the summit to happen, Kim Jong Moron will have to tone it down and get serious about the difference between the world’s largest Super Power and his little puissant country.
