When I was doing early show prep in the office yesterday, I immediately recognized that today’s show, a WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY, would be fun! Hollywood is producing a movie about the sexual harassment scandal at FOX News. Charlize Theron is playing Megyn Kelly. That’s some star power. It got me to thinking, what if we were to produce the other newsroom scandals? After all CBS, PBS, NBC and affiliates have had similar or even worse issues than FOX News has. So, tell me, who would play Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer and studio execs from those other outlets?
Oh, that’s not all. Yale is under investigation for gender discrimination against a male and we want to cheer. But, this investigation should not be happening. The complainant is NOT a Yale student or staffer. So what gives him standing? Are we really at this point in our society?
And the Boy Scouts are really doubling down on losing their reputation and women of my home state are the worse off for it…or are WV girls just easy?
While Brevard has set the job description and will be posting school security specialist requirements and jobs, we have forgotten one part of the school shooting situation.
A FL republican congressional candidate says displaced Puerto Ricans should not vote in Florida. He’s catching some heat. That Big Blue Wave democrats are looking for in November…doesn’t look as real as they think it is.
Brevard’s County Commission has new rules for employees carrying guns at work and new ones for us if we want to build a house and have flush toilets.
We have a bonus question from a news story in Tallahassee and a guest column in Florida Today. There is a concerted effort to grab more tax dollars for charities and something is fishy!
