State Representative Randy Fine was an advocate for the new school security law passed by the legislature in the wake of the MSD school shooting. Brevard Schools has complied with the law, but not in the manner many thought. Speaker Richard Corcoran has chosen to not enter the governor’s race (and I believe that is a smart call). We’ll get Randy’s thoughts on these and more in our 8am hour.
Before that we have a stash of stories to get you thinking: British Airlines has redefined the friendly skies. Ivy League schools apparently prepare you for the work. Sometimes the letter of the law is actually LETTERS. Given what is happening with some cops and even the mention of guns, can we say they are NOT after our guns? The Boy Scouts have lost one of their biggest proponents. When you cave on your history and values, what do you expect? Have you been asked to give a potential landlord any of your medical imaging before getting that apartment? It’s happened! Brevard seems set to ban conventional septic systems…so are they helping the lagoon or controlling your decisions?
