Monday's BML: Denver problems

It may not only be Denver where you see the problem that opens our discussion today, but they had to see this coming!  George Washington University has a long and proud tradition.  We may as well forget it. The Tampa Bay Lightning has advance in the NHL playoffs, but they had to overcome an unusual obstacle.  Remember UCF’s Shaquem Griffin?  I would not bet against the standout as he tries to make the Seattle Seahawks roster.

The nonsense hitting other colleges across the country has landed at Florida State as statue removal is under review and awaiting John Thrasher’s questionable judgment.  A restaurant in Dallas just had to speak out by placing their 2nd Amendment opinions on their receipts.  Did they think the NRA membership, in town for a convention, would not react?

In politics a candidate has dropped out of the State House D-51 race.  I’m just not sure how a candidate who made no headway in the race thinks his endorsement of a former opponent helps anyone.  A federal judge has called out the Mueller team for lying and more.  In Florida the two main Republican candidates for governor have faced off in their first debate.  Trying to out-conservative each other may be the way to the nomination, but being believable is more important.
