Did Sheriff Wayne Ivey’s strategy work? We spoke with the sheriff in yesterday’s 8am hour of BML and he was clearly frustrated that the school board has not taken action on school safety as time runs out to accomplish those goals. Florida Today is reporting today that a majority of the board now supports the school guardian program and is likely to pass it on or by the May 8th meeting. It should happen sooner. It appears that the heat is on!
If your student decides to go out of state for college the tuition will be higher than for students who reside in that state. Why then should students who are in the country illegally get in-state tuition when they are citizens of no state and here unlawfully? The Arizona Supreme Court agrees and DREAMERS will no longer get in-state tuition rates there.
While the NFL has opened the door to other professional football leagues by having a reduced quality product and tolerating tantrums by players in their form, the Cincinnati Bengals are taking a stand on kneeling. Good for them, but will players get it?
Laura Ingraham has been under fire by the Media Matters directed attacks of student-victim David “Boss” Hogg and even more advertisers are buying the scam. The City of Melbourne is encroaching on dangerous territory as the censorship of a mural in the Eau Gallie Art District will fall to a city appointed board. That’s a bad idea. The governor has announced his term limits plan for congress, should he be elected there and one city commissioner in South Florida, like many others, believes she is above the law and will sue to keep her seat while running for congress.
