It was noon on Friday and as a group of us gathered in a friend’s office conference room Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States. His inauguration address was what the country needed to hear. It was straightforward (something we didn’t get in the last 8 years) and it was uplifting. It signified a turn in American policy and one that is needed. How the leftist media spun it into something other than that is beyond me. And the left immediately grabbed the ball and ran out of bounds, going after President Trump’s 10 year old son. Then they started spouting fake news about acts in the White House and Madonna said she had thought about blowing up the White House. Madonna not only got our attention, she got that of the Secret Service. Perspectives on the president’s address are across the spectrum from glowing praise to protection space for snowflakes. Does anyone understand what the women in DC were marching about and how it was supposedly the fault of a man who had been president less than 24 hours?
Mike Haridopolos will join us in our final hour to give us his take on the first weekend for President Trump.
