On the eve of the Parkland High School massacre anniversary, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is taking action. Today he announced a petition has been filed to form a grand jury to investigate the shooting that left 17 people dead. DeSantis said the purpose of the grand jury will be to identify and hold those accountable for the shooting and suggest measures to prevent future tragedies. He was joined by families of the victims of the Parkland shooting. He also announced the signing of a series of executive orders.
