Lots Of Employees Calling Out Sick With "Super Bowl Flu"

The Super Bowl Flu means over 16 million U.S. employees are expected to miss work today. The latest Harris Poll for the Workforce Institute at UKG says 10 million employees requested the day off as opposed to the 6 -million who are calling out sick. This means around 14-percent of U-S workers plan to be out of office today. The cost of those absences can add up for employers to the tune of nearly 6-billion dollars in losses. For those who do show up---about 28-percent polled say they will be less productive today than usual.
