A new WalletHub survey finds half of Americans don't have a budget for Easter.

They found a negative response to the current economic climate, including views on charitable giving, spending and religion.

Although many will attend church services, host family dinners and hunt for Easter eggs some celebrations will more modest than usual.

The WalletHub survey found that 1 in 4 people think Easter is not affordable this year.

They cite rising costs driven in party by inflation and tariffs, have depleted family budgets leaving no room for holiday extras.

Also, the survey found more than half of respondents wish the Easter Bunny would fill their basket with money rather than candy and eggs.
