FLORIDA - Allegiant Air, a major ultra-low-cost airline, is expanding its Florida network with the introduction of six new nonstop routes.

Beginning in November 2025, the new routes will connect Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) with Allentown, Pennsylvania; Appleton, Wisconsin; and Des Moines, Iowa, with one-way fares starting at $69.

In addition, the airline is offering new routes from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) to Toledo, Ohio; from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Fort Wayne, Indiana; and from Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) to New Orleans, Louisiana, with fares as low as $59 and $49 for some destinations.

These new routes reflect Allegiant’s ongoing effort to provide affordable travel options to underserved markets.

Drew Wells, Allegiant's Chief Commercial Officer, stated that this expansion will offer travelers more access to sunny destinations while minimizing time spent at airports.

Allegiant has been expanding rapidly in Florida, with additional routes planned for this summer and fall, including a new service from Fort Lauderdale to South Bend, Indiana, starting August 29th, and a Key West to Knoxville, Tennessee route launching October 3.

With nearly half of its total capacity operating in Florida, Allegiant focuses on leisure travelers and point-to-point flights, serving both small and medium-sized cities.

The airline continues to add new routes as part of its broader national expansion strategy.
