St. Petersburg, FL - A 34-year-old Florida man was arrested on Thursday for the alleged murder of his 35-year-old brother following a hit-and-run incident on Monday morning.

St. Petersburg Police arrested Tyree Gland on Thursday night for the alleged murder of his older brother, Taiwan Gland Sr.

The murder occurred early Monday morning near the location of a memorial service for Taiwan Gland Jr., the victim's 18-year-old son, who was fatally shot just days earlier.

No further details concerning the argument's nature have been released by police.

Taiwan Gland Sr.'s death marks the second tragedy for the family within a short span.

No arrests have been made in the shooting of Taiwan Gland Jr.
