Polk County, FL - A man previously featured on "America's Most Wanted" was arrested on Sunday night in Polk County.
According to the sheriff's office, 51-year-old David Albarran was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office for two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 dating back to December 2022.
Osceola County deputies had been actively searching for Albarran since December 2022, following allegations of sexual misconduct involving a child, as per Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
Judd revealed that a tip led deputies to locate Albarran in Lakeland, where he attempted to conceal his identity by providing a fake name upon apprehension.
"We snuck around Sunday night just before midnight in the backyard of Country Haven Drive. Well, it might have been Country Haven Drive, but it was no haven for him," remarked Judd in a video statement.
In addition to the charges in Osceola County, Albarran faces an outstanding warrant in Orange County for failure to pay child support.
Presently, he is detained in the Polk County Jail.
